Confederate Memorial Day service, April 30th! Portland, OR.

Greetings Compatriots and Friends,

SCV Camp 458 will be having its Confederate Memorial Day service on Saturday, April 30th.  We will be starting meeting at 3pm in front of the Office at River View Cemetery in SW Portland. Once everyone has arrived, we’ll will start off our walking/driving tour. We will be visiting the Gravesides of two Confederates at Greenwood Hills Cemetery, and eight at River View. Our last Grave will be our Camp’s namesake, Col. Isaac W. Smith.

We are compiling information and tracking down pictures of the Veterans we will be visiting.

After our Cemetery service, we will convoy to DeNicola’s Italian Restaurant for Dinner. We have the banquet room reserved from 6pm to close. We will have special presentations and a candle lighting service, along with a great meal and fellowship!

Please invite friends and family to attend. SCV Camp 458 will be providing the Flags for the Veterans. We will be praying that the weather is good that day.
